Single father episode one: star casting
Ok! The show is about a father of five (and a family dynamic that would put the plot of 'the big bang' to shame) trying to cope with the death of her wife and trying to raise his kids. One of which is an adult girl from a previous marriage and one is not her biological child. I know wibly-wobly timey-wimey. It's not really my cup of tea, But it's David tennant. And this why I cry wolf. David tenant was cast to draw in the absolute David tennant fans. The people who would stay up until 2 In the morning just to watch it on live stream. Again, I'm not judging the the show,I'm judging the production. It's a good show even without the presence of David tennant. A good widely known British actor can play this and still be good. The story is solid. But the cast of tennant was done in order to sell more DVDs and broadcast rights. The producers shamelessly rode on the David tennant wave and became american producers. Which is lower than lobbyist.
But I give them a tip of my hat. If my only comment is David tennant's casting, they are doing thier job. Still, it's the first episode and their is still room for them to f*k it up.

silurians=bnp
i watch the doctor who episode 'warriors of the deep' the first time meet the silurans.they were a bunch of shit. they were not really that good at being a baddie in the story. frankly, i thought the sea devils were more convincing even if the wore those samurai costumes they were evil and i like their guns.
i have reservation for the next episode of the new series. being that they are 'the silurans' and it was tattooed in my mind that the silurian were the big piece of creative disaster in the history of doctor who.
so, in order for me to really get know the silurian. i watch all of thier episodes. and being that they only appeared in two, and i have already watch the second i watch the first. and see why on earth did they come back for a squeal
the title made the reputation of the silurian worst for me. it sounded like a bad 70's cop show. but can see jon pertwee team-up with a silurian chase bad guy with the help of a foxy afro wear diva who says the thing that are true and never holds back. wait. that liz shaw?
the plot was essentially good. and thier were good plot devices in this story. and for the first the silurians were great. the look more proper alien than their warriors of the deep counter part. and i think the silurians and the BNP have something in common.
okey!here me out. the silurian's logic is that they came first therefore, they have the right to live on planet earth and not the humans. replace it with BNP, uk, and other races respectively and it sound the same.
i love liz shaw. she the donna noble of the classic series. i love her. period.
jon pertwee's doctor was not as eccentric as the previous doctor. but i have to point for still being the doctor i always love and adore. it like chocolate. you know their are different bands and flavor but it is always the same taste you love. and i would like to explore his doctor-ness if i get a chance to see more of his work in the series. overall, i like this episode and now, i'm looking forward to seeing the hungry earth.

just pick one so we can get over this.
the episode was i bit slow but i have to say this, it was a proper doctor who episode. it reminded me of the hartnell episode, brink of destruction. the plot was stong it was just the pacing that made it bad
i'm in love with the dreamlord.Toby Jones did a masterful work that i'm nominating him as the new master, if john simm would keep to his word.the character has a devil-est a tempter to the mortals and timelord that he encounters. he makes such stupendous comment about the doctor and his companions that hit so much from home.and knowing that it was the 'evil' doctor, i would hope that they would revisit the role next season. but i would really like him to be an eternal. i love the concept of it that i would not mind if it's just a remake of 'the enlightement'.
i loved the concept of the old people being the (sub)baddie of the episode. they had that 'old people are weird' vibe to them. and it give them an excuse to him a pensioner with piece of wood.
as seen in the title, this is amy's choice. deciding weather to stay with rovy in the dull amateur stage production of oklahoma is a way of fun the you would consider kill your self or getting pregenet leadworth. sorry! upper leadworth. what the difference between the normal leadworth and uupper leadworth it is just the same. only with aliens living inside old people. or travel with that doctor and a quote 'all of time and space everything that ever happened or ever will. where do you want to start?' rovy was so sure that leadworth was real that he spokke about it like a trailer appearing in the middle of the story's climax.
rovy 'death' was pure and unadulterated. and on that point you can see the crack forming on Amy and the doctor's relationship. i like that fact that amy made her choice just because rovy is not there. amy loves rovy. amy would follow rovy to the street of {insert city that you deam is too boring and uneventful to live in here} that how she love her.the cgi of people turning to dirt was very good and rovy's made me cry. the aliens spitting gas or some thing , i'm not really impress.
overall, i like the episode.

leave amy alone!!!!
why do we entertain any one who writes from the 'guardian' or the daily mail? i don't live their but from what i hear it's tabloid. and if you read a taboid, you need to have a pinch of salt.(well not a pitch more of an amount that would fast track to dying at the rightful age of 25). and i'm also hearing of she all what feminist hate. first of all, she the PRODUCT of feminism. she's a girl who does what she wants without the man getting her down.she's your own creating. a Frankenstein, a genetic abomination that even Richard Dawkins would say 'evolution is not true'
and what do you mean 'doctor who had been sex-up'. have you not seen tegan. she wore short skirts that are made of leather (so she is sex-up and a lesbian. ohh! I see how she looks a nyssa. that lustful look. the glances. sleep overs in the tardis. i just made her a lesbian hurray) or Zoe thigh leotard ( there are thing that you will not seen naked) and will i not forget jo grant well not the character just the actress posing fully naked in front of a dalek for a men's magazine.
the scene in flesh and stone was awkward. Amy played a seductress who has no skill what so every and the doctor played a virgin geek ( fun fact: virgin geek are a dying race in the world of fan-dom. geek either found fan-girls, a surge with the Tennant and twilight hype or found fan-boys)and it was just a kiss. i can give you all every doctor-companion kiss right now:
9/rose: parting of the ways
9/captain jack: parting of the ways
10/rose: new earth
10/martha: smith and jones
10/astrid: voyage of the dammed
10/donna: unicorn and the wasp
10/lady what's her face: planet of the dead
and fan-dom and critics did not even nudge in anger. so is there a double standard for the eleventh doctor.... or amy for that matter.

Stupid things, I hate you so much (!)
At last, something to sink my teeth into. (Cuz due to the swelling in mouth cause by the dental surgery, I have not been eating properly. And food is my only recreation than doctor who and I really love food.) The angel of time proves that Steven can still make you scream and laugh at the same time. Without a doubt, I love the episode.
The angel s are still scary. They’re the ones that make me jump of my seat when they show their demonic face. The video scene with Amy was really uncalled for. But, did you see Amy winking? Now we can be rest assured that we can close one eye and still be safe from the weeping angel. And I’m also a bit worried at Amy seeing that she is turning to stone. The doctor biting Amy was really hilarious even if they have the chance of being killed
The doctor has a thing for museums. Clear, he’s that kind of tourist, The-I-know-it-thing-and-tour-guide is-wrong kind of tourist (we call him ‘Mr. know-it-all’). River song is fabulous. I loved the cold opening. She is so James bond in the female form. And father Octavian is bitchy to the doctor. If you hear it clearly, he sounds the same but there are moments that he makes snarky comments. And I’m with the church on self-marriage. Imagine the how awkward they are to if the other one are on a date. I just saying but I would watch that train wreck. Cleric bob was the funniest name for a cleric. Which saint did he get the man, St. Spongebob of squarepants?. The cliffhanger was epic but not the RTD style kind of ending. Here there is a solution not a no way out kind of scenario.
I’m looking forward to see the next episode. And wishing that graham Norton face would not pop out during a climactic moment. Speaking of which, why are you doing this to us BBC. We are an audience that are devoted to buy stuff from you and would wait for 3 in the morning for your episode. Why do we deserve this? Please BBC get your act right or give the right of doctor who to Canada. (the USA lost their chance when they remade life on mars, Which is not very good. The version of gene is very old and the Chris looks too macho for chris.)

victory of the what now?!
this post it a bit late.(because i'm the doctor) but seriously, i really did not have time to make a actual post on the count that i was in pain from a dental operation. so, here is what i think about the victory of the dalek.
Unanimously, i would have to say that the spitfire in space was epic. Not in the way that RTD make epic thing which is like leaving kids in the wild and hoping for the best. Churchill was okay. I mean ian’s (yes, in this blog, I call people on a first name basis because that is who I roll) acting was great. He plays Churchill in a way that people from the international community would recognize as Churchill. The dalek are really evil. I know in stating a fact but kill your own kind because they are not ‘pure’ is downright nazi-est thing to do. Bluffing the daleks with cookies was awesome. My brother (he watches it when I watch it so I never watch it with him because he asks a lot of questions and I get annoyed) pointed out that it look like a dewberry (a popular biscuit in the Philippines) and I was flabbergasted. I know they call it a jammie doger but I’m having a fangasm to see the relative thing in doctor who that connect with my childhood
Why is amy saving the day? I know it’s always good to for a companion to save the world once and a while but this is not amy who. She is not the main character of the show….or is she. The new dalek look ehh, I say ‘taste the rainbow’. My brother says ‘go! go! Power dalek’ (I know it doesn’t sound much but let give it a try). The only thing that I have a beef on the new dalek is the collar. I like how clean the collar but the place where the plunder and the gun should have a different design. They look imprisoned. The ending was not good. bracewell the android is a bomb and the only way to stop it was to be human. And why is amy going on the path of Martha. I love Martha but she was tainted by the unreplied love from the doctor and I don’t want that again.
Overall, please spare us from another dalek episode. Make it like the peter Davidson era. Just one dalek episode. just to satisfy the fanboys.

meh!!!!!!!
I just watch the second episode of doctor who the beast below and it’s a bit ‘meh’ for me. There are good bit, bad bit, and the new theme tune. I really didn’t like the theme tune and as a person who has the power to move forward and backwards in time, I skip the whole she-bang.
Let’s face it, this episode is the eleventh hour part 2. But this time it’s about Amy. Not exactly about Amy but more of what Amy know about the doctor. There are some points in the episode that explains to Amy what the doctor is, on a side more, that ‘we are only observers’ bit that was B.S. and Amy knows it. (your first episode was one of your companion making fire. he didn’t invert fire but more timiy wimiy wobbly-wobbly. I lost the argument)
The smilers are creepy. And Moffat just made a PSA about having low grades (if you flunk a test the smiles will get you hwahwahwhahwhawaaaa . it’s stupid )surely it’s not going to work. Kids are too smart for that – don’t underestimate the kiddies. But plot wise, contribution to the story, maybe because since the eleventh no one has died. Even the sletheen killed a guy or two. The winders are the Ipad of this story. I know they are the one who keep the smilers running but u hate what they wear, that jedi outfit. I will not like the cosplay it will produce. Fans can buy a jedi costume and a cuckoo clock key and presto. The easiest doctor who costume since the gasmask zombies from empty child/doctor dances. Men wearing black military fatigue will be more relevant that that lot.
I love Liz ten. She maybe a cross between lauren copper and the girl who can hear thoughts form misfits but she has the sense of royalty and I will love to be her subject, Makes me also think that the royal family is part timelord, Because the doctor banged the virgin queen…..allegedly. but it’s cannot now. Two authors confirmed my logic and I’ll post a tread in the forums. The voting booth was a bit matrix-est but the production team been frank on using the reference. They even use a man that looks like col. Sanders to deliver the meassage. I love the new plot element of the memory wipe. Now I can have that function on my sonic screwdriver. (it’s more imaginary than real)………. Moving on.
The space whale is back. I adored the episode ‘meat’ it was sad and a really great use for reease. I love it’s mouth and again it’s reference to star wars. (It Moffat calling out to spilburg? Moffat to spilburg: steven!! Get me out of this 46 year old show)
The doctor’s dilemma was short. I wanted it more expanded and explained. . he can also be mean and angry ( my theory is because the previous version (tennant) did not want to go. This version is bitter.) The ending was marvelous. And even I was heartbroken by it. The space whale volunteering him/herself, because it the last one of its kind and his lonely. I like the mirroring the doctors life since 2005. And Amy saved the day. Please don’t let this be a regular this. She might save the world once or twice and it will be ok.
Ohhh!!! The crack on the ship was too obvious. Steven, we want it to be like hidden Mickey. The more obscure the better.
It was not the great ep in the series but it was ok. Now I’m waiting for the next episode the victory of the daleks.

It fells time traveler’s wife-est
a new era has wept upon us, as doctor who change it face once again. If this sounds pretentious then I have done my job. it give promise of change but change may not be good for some. ( it sound that it’s a bad review but please hang on) the episode starts with the doctor hanging for dear life as the tardis almost crashes into be big ben and almost hitting the doctor’s sensitive regions.
The opening sequence was flat to me. Not visually, stick the original theme and it would be great. What I have the problem is the dark rendition of Murry gold. It felt very Sarah Jane adventures on a bad day. It start all gloom and doom but in the end the REAL theme tune emerges.
Anyways, we see amy praying to ‘santa’. I know in the world of political correctness we have to be fair to other religions but why is she praying for santa. She then meets the doctor who crashes and ruins the garden shed. What like the bit with food and the racist comment by the doctor (if you see can find it way to go) she then point the doctor (after eating fish fingers and custard, which is not the most disgusting food combo. Cuz I know a man how eats Noodles with ketchup. Not Pasta, NOODLES (the broke that broke college grad and the Asian population eat) with ketchup) to the crack on the wall. He opens it and we see the eye from the twilight zone. The eye tell a prisoner zero has escape but the before the doctor can do anything about it, the tardis goes on the hissy-fit. The doctor goes in the tardis to fix the problem by going five minutes into the future. He promises Amy of travelling though time and space. And we see the cute thing since torchwood babies. (I really like the web comic thus I’m making a reference because I can) fast forward tomorrow morning. (I think)
We see amy in a very sexy police uniform (French maid would be nice but…)( and also the doctor doesn’t know but we know). Just before she knocked him with a cricket bat (a reference to the fifth doctor) he then talked about six door and we meet prisoner zero. I know it not the greatest monster (dalek) or the worst ( absorbalof) but one unique thing about it is it’s butt ugly. It across between sea snake and angler fish and it works.
We also learn that amy is a kiss-o-gram (an indigenous tribe located in the rain forest of whorenia). And that it’s 12 years since fish and custard (it always starts that way). At this point it kinda goes time traveler’s wife for me. The question is are they or are they not, and what is the connection with jeff and amy and rovy? Is he the hot ex that got away? (for amy). The doctor discovers that he has four 20 minutes to save the world. Then the sun goes different. And we see how the doctor looks at things. (and if I’m in his head, I don’t want to go)
The then saves the world by spreading a virus with the help of Jeff’s laptop, with references to Jeff watching porn. (you cheeky bastard Steven Moffat). The twist with amy was great and a love how prisoner x uses little amy as a digest, creepy as hell. And the story is much more known than the RTD hidden Mickey kind of story arc. the crack on the wall and the silence story arc is quite promising.
The doctor then confronts the big eye aliens (the atraxi). But before that he changes his clothes and get naked in front of rovy and amy (and amy like what she sees). He warns the atraxi to leave this planet (basically…run. Ohhwwwwooohhhhh fangazime ) and also make a excuse to show all the past doctor and david tenant, After which, the doctor run to the tardis which has change inside and out.
A time cut and a beautiful scene of little Amelia (ahwwww ! ) the doctor come back two years later which angers amy ( he doesn’t get the time right does he. It might be this doctor’s quirk) amy travels with the doctor (when childhood dreams come true) but warn the doctor to get her back on the same day. The story ends with a shoot amy’s cartoons and dolls of the doctor and her (I want one of those. It does how much? I’ll do anything to get one of the dolls. And end with a wedding dress (ohhh! How mysterious).

my hopes and dreams for season (series) 5
- have no more resurrection of past monsters. i know fan boys love the return of the any good old doctor who character but would you like to see cavemen from tribe of gum?
- have more stories fill with horror and gore. RTD is like too chicken to kill a companion that she had the biggest period just so she cannot burn from the inside. i want to kill a companion. not like adric but like liz shaw.
- put new and upcoming writers. i'm not saying steven moffat should troll on fanfiction.net and read doctor who/ house M.d. crossover. i'm saying that a lot of good writes are not ole enough to be my father. i know all of the production team are doctor who fans, but you need to involve the next generation of doctor who production. i suggest a contest of sorts.
- have less kissing with the companions. this love thing with Martha was a disaster. i love her as a companion not a love interest for the doctor and why do we keep getting rose to appear every season. and i'm so great full that billy piper will not do rose very. because i will not want another school reunion type episode with her. may be with marth but not with her. die. rose. die. yes, i have a glee of killing characters off the show.
