The amazing race 15

This week the amazing race premiered on my TV. I love that this season has more twist and surprises. I think this game changes over time. (Because I think survivor is like a bad version of the real world, From Hawaii beyond. Teams this season are a little different, they had a gay BROTHERS (note the emphasis on the brothers. they are not a couple but we know they have done it.) The only all woman team, the poker girls, tried to lie until the five legs or so, I thought it was a good back story. They were counselors of a non-profit organization. And you know, the evil in me would think this is a good lie, if only they did not have accesses to the internet. And once again, the five generic young middle age white heterosexual couples or as like to call them ‘expendables’. One thing that struck my nerve is that the producers of the race have been in a large runt in casting, Case in point, Zev and Justin. I know that in the previous season we have seen little people (Charla and Mirma), and hearing disabilities (Marge and Luke) but I think that they are pushing the line. Much as they did with season 14 (see my last post about the race)
The game started with something unexpected, something weird and something that was a detour on a previous season and use a road block. Something unexpected was the elimination of a team too early on in the race. It like being asks to visit Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory and learning that you get there is was prank. You were given that chance of a lifetime only to taken away from you. That sucks. Something weird was the japaneses game show. I felt like a teenage girl screaming from the top of my lungs from this roadblock. Because the race has come to Japan for three to four times (including the Asia version) and they always go with the traditional Japan kind of feel and to see them in the weird Japan- I just want to cry. And it not just your generic Japanese’s game show ( generic would consist of monkeys, a Ballpit , lot’s of foam and an engrish speaking game show host) it an ever the top Lolita girls, traditionally dress one man band, confetti filled, bad English speaking sexy announcer and a engrish speaking game show host. They had to eat wasabi bomb to move on. Which I think is a kind of party food you would eat as a dare (like worms or Balut eggs). And something to long that I would not like to repeat myself is the duck. This task is a repeat. If you know the 5th season and watch the Philippine leg you will know that there was a detour involving ducks and guiding them to some piece of land. This was the detour that lead to the Best four words I think utter in the history of the game ‘my ox is broken’
Well, It’s still the premiere. I’m still hoping that one of the expendables would have a mental breakdown . I hope that the gay brothers would keep the secret of being gay. And I wish that this season will be more cryptic that the other seasons. Because it is just fun.

I've seen it and I aprove

During the previous blog about doctor who, I felt sorry that David tennant will leave the show and fans would be left with a
Emo-doctor ( Matt smith, well if you consider number 9 Christian I forgot he was good on heroes and I think should be in the cast for the next season and would further explore Noah a.k.a" rim horned glasses" Bennet's past) but it turn out I was a little ahead if my self like the time they crusifed the new James bound for being to small headed and blond. Recently, they have release photos of the new doctor in coustume with his new companion Amy pond ( if they can tie-up aconnection with the word "any" to "song" she is river song and I think the doctor overcompensating that he Isn't 'ginger' in this regeneration as explored in Christmas invasion and as a spoiler I think his companion lives in the 80, her dress looks like it. so I think it is an intellegent guest)
He look like 50's professor/student. What like about it that it pay homage to the past doctor but it also bring the uniqueness of this doctor from other doctor even if I haven't seen any original doctor who ( please direct me anyone who sell a DVD boa set of the original doctor who or better yet something on the internet I can poke my keyboard with.) the only thing have a critic on the fact the TARDIS look clean and thief a sticker of some sort the reads 'st john's ambulance ( which may be a clue to how the 9th doctor regenerates. Maybe they'll give us a doctor who movie like regeneration like in the mourge again.) anywho, I belive we will see more action and suspence or even the return of rose, marth, donna or any of our other different and former foes and companions may be this doctor would be iconic like the 4th or the 10th doctors he would succssed. I hope this series ( or season for the Americans) would mystify us into the world of doctor who.

as some of you may have known, i have been working for busch gardens for the past month now. and it's a good thing i;m free to roam the park for free. here are some the pics i took with friends.

hindi ko alam kung bakit nafe-feel eto. pero felling ko ay nas pilipinas pa ako kahit nasa usa na ako. marahil, marami lang kami mga pilipino dito sa village namin. basta,ewan. baka sa lamig lang to. and by the way, bat ba ako nagtatagalog. first time ko yata na magsalita ng filipino sa blog kong ito. ma rahil feel ko lang o ngayon ko na lang kapagtripan nag english. whatever. tiganan na lang natin kung itutuloy ko'to.

welcome to the usa

at last, I'm here at the united states of America. I'm so bless that i got a US visa (one advise, you have to been a little strict with the Consular. they like you to be honest with them) one thing that i hate for now is the cold. what living creature would survive in a 50 degree heat. i really envy those people from Florida and Texas ( you know how you are) by the way, this is not a trip, this is a student exchange program. this is held so that is can experience the American culture and it's way of like and also to teach the skills i learned in the united states ( and so that it was the agency told me to say)
one thing that I'm looking forward to is the trips, i'm booked to see New York, Florida, California and Hawaii. but, these trip will be start until June. so, i will keep you posted on some updates. for now, I'm here at Virginia working having a position in Busch Gardens Europe. you can see me their some where out their inside, that a song. really hoping that weather will be good. be good. i mean a little over 60 degrees. i reall hate the cold. i miss the heat in the Philippines and my family. every else, i happy that i'm not in the Philippines right about now

the amazing race 14

I love the amazing race.it is of my fav show today. but, i felt robed in this season. casting was great. i like the deft hearing-impaired team. but then, i feel like they copied the Asian version of the amazing race by casting the team. their a great chemistry because a mom and son team always give drama to the show especially when the mom nags on the son for what ever reason under the sun. and thank god for having only two dating teams. couple team who are not committed except if their gay as bound to by their aggressive to one partner or to every contestant in the race. the old couple is kind of strange. their old but their too FIT for me because i like the old couple how always gets lost in a country that no one speaks English about a mile radius. but, i think they are cashing-in on the hillbilly concept of casting. it work on the season 6 but ......it's neutral to me. one person that pop to me is the gay father and son. how would have notice that the son once guest stared on pushing daisies. i know he's the guy how died on the vat of taffy. i like this team because even though they are from Hollywood or Hollywood people they are no a bunch of douchbags( rob and amber. who does a wedding special for TV........well! except star Jones. but i believe that the ration of showbiz/non-showbiz couple of 1/1.
I also like the graphics and the new opening. who would have thought the just showing big Ben, Egypt, and random lakes in loop would look good on TV. the song still gave true to the spirit of the race without giving anything-up.
but i have the beef on the editing. how dose time cuts and showing the exact time they did it. i hate the feel that you would have to wait for all the team to finish a location before going to actual .it is like a bus stop in the middle of nowhere. you can move on but you have to wait for the asshole who didn't do the number 2 in the main station.

palawan-the last frontier

i really wanted to got to the most beautiful and secluded in the Philippines. so , my dreams has come true. palawan is the one of the place i've never visited in the Philippines and being been in Baguio like a hundred time ilocos region twice and laguna,banawe,cagayan province, hundred island, southern Tagalog, bohol and Cebu once the check list is getting thinner. (the last place i want to go to is basilan)
again, this is a tour made possible by my school, DE LA SALLE- DASMA. and much of my tour are by my school. and in very school tour you have the people you love, hate and just don't to be with. . . your classmates.

naia 3 : not so good feeling to wait


I love to see the new terminal, it's more Asian architecture rather then a Philippine inspired airport (wounder who's the architech) it's a modern but not the state-of-the-art.
and also some thing happened, i was suppose to be on a flight at Cebu pacific. then, when i got to the airport, my locator went missing, that the code that finds your electronic ticket. so now i can't boared my flight and is got stuck to the next flight (another flight that has 'la salle' in it) which is one pm (and it was delayed... their was apparently no planes available) and being their for like 7 am, it feels kinds of a family Christmas party, you don't want to be their but you have to. being bored is one of the main thing i have to fight so me and my friends just to took a lot of pics.







welcome to palawan

arriving at palawan we were greeted by our tour guides. they gave us this seashell necklace or to my viewpoint, free thing to give anyone i said i will give souvenirs. we have a late lunch which was in a mangrove that had a pleasant view of the sea and they served well! ..... seafood duh!( well! ordinary seafood, sea cucumber is not good for a first day.)
the tour started with a trip to the crocodile farm or as i like to call were Gucci come from. we saw large crocodile that was bigger then me. they fossilize the bones and varnish the skin. we went to penal farm were good prisoners are sent to a large rice field and baker's hill,(I've never seen the tacky art work but the pastries good)
it has almost sunset and their are more things that we went that i can't think right now. after which, we check in the hotel. it was a modest hotel. but, what hotel would not have free toothbrush. i mean, the fundamental thing in the hotel is free toothbrush. i went to bed.



starfishes are ugly from the other side.

the second day , we went island hopping at honda bay. i hate the underwater world. when i see picture of corals i think it's creepy and disgusting and kind of weird. so in spite of this, i rented a snorkeling gear and went snorkeling in pandan island. pandan island is named because of the abundance of pandan trees. this is not the pandans the are for cooking or making desert. this are the pandas that make hats and bags and so on.
when we arrived some of my friends notice two starfish on the shore. they look cute so my friend pick it up and started taking picture. when he or she (he or she is not gay i just don't recall if it's a guy friend or a lady friend) flip the starfish it look ugly. it had wrinkly skin the the middle their was like suction like things that move like feet or some thing. i now hate starfish. well! not hate just disgusted.
diving into the coral reef you get to see diff rent kinds of fishes and sea creature. but, when i get in the middle of the coral reefs i some times feel warn like someone peed in that very spot. it so creepy i start to move a way. sea urchins are that one i always get away from or really want to stay away like I'm an old lady and i see a black person (what! its a Obama time now we can all laugh at racial slurs. besides I'm allowed I'm Asian.) and i don't want to get pee all over me ( the cure for sea urchin stings and a sexual arousal to some.)
another island we want to is snake island. their are no snake their but the island is shape like a snake( and beside what would a snake eat in that island. . . fat tourist. hahaha i hate my self. ohh! whatever) i drank buko and just hang out with my friend hya. we also went to starfish island because it's full of starfishes ( and as public message STARFISHES ARE UGLY)
i tried to copy my friend kuya jed who was sitting outside the boat the that the stabilizers and the boat meet (but I'm. . . husky so i don't know if doing it was the greatest achievement of my life but then here is a picture)

i only explain my action to me, god and the court.

one of the highlight of the trip was the st. paul underground river. it is now considered the number one in the short list. (personally, i voted for all of the candidates from the Philippines.)
but getting their was a disaster. i got, wet my camera was drench ( good thing pics are still good) and my mind and past-self thought it was a good day to wear shoes.
the moring was a little cloudy but the thought the weather was calm and i thought that the way to the river (even thought we are going by boat) would not get even my feet wet. some how i did not get the memo that advice student to wear sandals or flip flops when going to the underground river ( which i didn't because i did not attend the orientation and because no one texted me on the orientation . . . . i think I'm lonely. . . whatever) i just had a life altering experience. ohh well moving on.
when we got their. the pier has no way of crossing the boat with out getting wet( on the island hopping their was a long plank on out boat that can touch the pier or the sand beach.so then my shoes did not get wet because i was so smart to get in the very front of the boat. when we arrive on the shore, waves came pouring and the my shoes and short got wet. i got to the opening of the river and i got so frustrated that i just got barefoot.some of my classmate, professors and tour guide are persecuted me to having wore the shoes. so a reaction, I live and learn from my decision. weather big or small. I only explain my action to me, god and the court. SO, BACK OFF PLEASE ( with hug and kisses) and if you are who are affected by this statement. . . .Hi!

i don't know how to point a light

getting in the river was hard, you have to get a permit; find a boat; and wait for a boat to get us to the river it's self. when you are on the boat, the person in the front would have to point a light. i was sadly on the front and i don't know how to point a light. the cave was dark and their was the sound of bats and eerie thing that bump in the night. the cave/river was breathtaking. their are thing that look like dinosaurs, vegetables and the large cavern that has pieces that look like Mary Jesus and other religious figures they call it the chatheral. lastly, theirs the large passageway they call god's highway. it look so long and forever that i thought it won't end. and i felling some chtostorphobia.

what do i think

place is magical and yet it feel like time has been put on hold and all your cares and fears are put away in a small box. the land make you want to live ( i seriously want to retire their and just mellow for the rest of my life) the island will simple take you and never let you live. . . at least of course you have to leave because your vocation leave is due!!!

Doctor who who?

I'm a fan of the new version of doctor who. I watch it either bootleg or Internet form. I sad that Mr. David tenant had to leave the show because he has to do Shakespeare. By the way, could that be the only thing he can do as an actor in London. It's either BBC or the east end (uk's Broadway.).
Now the new question is who will replace David. In the Internet, there is much speculation about the next doctor. Some people even predicted a black African-American doctor (I'm a little racists..... sorry) but the BBC made a special after the next doctor episode, which i like and i also like to a further revisit of Rosita because her role need to be explored more and i also want to see the expression of a 19Th century girl when she sees 21Th century London. hahahaha......funny and drama! Any who, they devoted the fist half to the history of pass doctors. From the good (1,2,3,4,5,7,8,9,10) to the bad (the 6Th doctor is like a barf from a sesame street or electric company. too happy not enough looking smart or weird.)
but when they presented this actor i said to my self doctor-emo. And they keep saying that his the youngest doctor ever. Listen, i don't care if he look like the ending of the curious case of Benjamin button (which is would like to watch if i have the time) but i want you to fix his hair and how pale he is. He serious look like an emo boy. he need a companion just to keep him from committing suicide.
The time when the 9Th doctor came with his leather jacket and his slightly bald head i fell 'what the fuck' the guy look like a hell's angles reject that came in line to the doctor who auditions. But a few episodes i came to embrace Christopher eccolson(sp?) and to love him saying 'fantastic' every time he save the universe and plus rose distracted me from him( blonde's do have more attention)
i hope they fix this new doctor( i seriously don't know his name right now) like they did with David in 'new earth when he got the mo hock-ish and HD filming. i like his performance in Christmas invasion genuine doctor but I'm not crazy about the look and the hair but i like what he wore (English professor i like to f***)
so please, do something about the new doctor. He need a make over. A-S-A-P.

i just what to share my travels, like of food and i mean FOOD (people how are fat advice me to go on a diet which includes my whole family) i also what to share my Filipino pride and I'm really prideful that i wear a barong with jeans for school.
